Afcon 2019 qualifiers
The international break comes up in two weeks’ time with the African continent busy with the Afcon 2019 qualifiers.
Super Eagles will be in action as they travel to South Africa to face the Bafana Bafana on November 17.
The Eagles camp has been given a bad hit as the team’s first choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho
is out of the clash due to injury.
However, Enyimba’s goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has been given a late call-up to
replace the injured Uzoho.
Uzoho picked up a rib injury while on club duty on Sunday, and is no longer in available for the South Africa clash.
The Spain-based goalkeeper paves the way for Afelokhai to gain his much agitated for invitation,
after the former Deportivo La Coruna keeper left the pitch on a stretcher.

To this end, Afelokhai joins Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi at the Eagles’ camp that opens this weekend in Asaba, Delta State.

Enyimba’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign and used the opportunity to pull of remarkable saves.
